SHE won’t be happy with that mate.Ask the boss how much he’s on and say you want double that as you’re twice the man he is.

That’s just me mate. Not the gang. That wouldn’t even cover the costs of the cheese and port at the weekly mod meetings.
Or so I’ve been told.
Doesn't hurt to ask.
Need some advice.
Been offered a job which I’m really happy with. Suits me down to the ground with work hours and travel.
However it’s 2k a year less than I was wanting. In the grand scheme of things, that’s not much but would help out massively. Considering I’ve basically big their hand off for the job, does that ruin my opportunity for a negotiation on pay? From the feedback I’ve received they appear to be very keen on me however I don’t want to ruin any good rapport I have set up with them by sounding a bit cheeky.
Apart from sawdust or putting myself in rice, any advice?
@john jakoAll you can do is ask. They'll be under no impression you are working for the sheer fun of it, all work is purely based on finances - tell them straight, it's less than £40 a week so it's not cheeky at all IMO.
Still waiting on an answer after two weeks. I can see where this is going.Just seen this, what happened?

It’s basically all sorted mate. Just waiting on HR to pass it through as they are changing the position of a contract role to permanent for me.How did you negotiate, email or phonecall?
Depending on the role, I would arrange a call with the boss there and say youre very positive about the company etc etc and the role etc and ask where they are with the contract offer and ask a timeframe...
Short and concise sentences and be very positive.
