Guys,

Long time no see, hope all are well. !

Who is going to Saints, people might remember I am based down here so have my usual home seat for this match. :whip:

anyone up for a few at Yates pre match give me a shout. My usual gang I hang out with are held up with..fatherhood dealings so to speak so have not been out much myself lately.

Will be pretty jetlagged on the Sunday as I am just getting back from Thailand on the saturday.

Giving this a bump as it looks like to have slipped a bit under the radar.

Guess a whole horde of naughty blues will be gathering down on above bar street in November anyway.!

No one is going, don't you know how massive a club the mighty saints are?? We'd get slaughtered as they march all the way to the giddy heights of 6th or 7th come the end of the season.

A few years ago, against the advice of many, I had a couple of beers in the King Alfred near the ground and the locals were actually sound.

I will be mate but not a chance I'm going to Yates'. A few of us usually meet down oxford Street before. Probs be the same this year I reckon

What the actual?!

It was way before I knew you sweety, must be over ten years ago thinking about it.
I'd gone down with a mate, we'd been told it was a well dodgy area by family, but to us it looked pretty much home from home.

We weren't wearing colours, and the lad I was with was from down south originally so could translate for me. We actually spent a pleasant hour or so propping up the bar nattering to a few Saints supporters. My mate's even less intimidating looking than I am, so I think they just put as down as weird buggers and took us under their wing.

Let me know where the watering hole of choice will be and I will stand out with this top, neutral..

I have been to the saints myself and found their fans in general to be a great bunch of lads.
We didn't know where we were coming from the isle of wight side and two dad n lads pairs walked us to the ground through the Southampton end in blue colours n all. Only had good experiences with the locals.

I have so much respect for those who trek to these far away places. The idea of going these distances and losing really doesn't appeal to me! Wembley aside, my furthest away is probably Leeds or West Brom!
