Not the greatest sailor, but qualified RYA classes1/2 dinghy sailing and RYA Dayskipper.

Owned a couple of boats over the years including a Wharram Cat., and chartered yachts up to 40’ in UK and Greece.

Only an occasional sailor these days, on a friend’s small yacht on Windermere.

Took part in the Cork Week Regatta years ago. Great fun but hard work. Enjoyed a few pints in Crosshaven......what’s not to like.....

Had a few basic lessons mate was really good fun, sailing and motor boats.
Owned a canal boat for a few years that was good but was getting expensive to keep up.

Done a few weeks sailing around the Ionian Islands with my family. Great fun and very relaxing with nice scenery and the sun on your face

I remember Craig Short getting into sailing when he retired from the game.

He was one of the original owners of this sailing school http://www.outrunsailing.co.uk/contact.htm
but, I believe, is no longer involved after an ambition to get into football management/coaching.

Nope. ... definitely vanished. .. it was a recent victim of the beast from the east
... the whole floating marina and around 80 yachts and pleasure cruisers . Millions of pounds lying under the sea sadly.
