Saido Berahino

seems like he may have something about him. haven't seen him more than a couple of times, but he's scored a fair few this season.

...and he sounds bossly brazilian

Would definitely take him. He's a good finisher, got pace and good movement, plus he is English, young and cheap so its a no brainer. We wont have Lukaku next season so might as well start looking for his replacement, obviuosly Berahino is not as good as Lukaku but he's got potential with a good future in front of him.

Just sell Jelavic and sign another striker like Batchuayi, Chicharito, or any striker with that killer instinct we have been lacking to go alongside Berahino and Kone.

Almost everybody is out of our price range and that's before we start talking wages.

Depends if he has enough sense to stay at WBA, not do a Wright Phillips and rot on the bench.

I know we are a step up from Wbrom, but does He?

He looks handy but it's early doors yet.

From an Evertonian's perspective (ie lamb to an oligarch's/sheikh's dirty dollar slaughter), I have sympathy with WBA keeping their player. Let teams develop their own talent and tell the filthy lucre to **** off.

I think that the Baggies would want an Oxlade-Chamberlain size figure for him (£12m?) and there is no way we could afford to speculate at that level. West Brom are financially sound, so there would be no imperative to sell either. And we couldn't guarantee him games, especially if we're sticking with our current system. So I think it's a non-starter.

Could easily be a flash in the pan, looks to have exploded onto the scene but could be figured out and down in League One inside two years.

Too much of a risk to spend money on. If he's available for £2-3m, maybe worth a punt, but I won't be losing sleep over the potential of "missing out" on him, as I'd understand why we had, even if he comes good.

I was about to post exactly this.
