Louis Saha is fighting for his Everton future after being left out of the squad for this evening's Carling Cup tie.
The Frenchman will miss the third round clash against WBA at Goodison despite being in full training for more than a week.

I was half expecting this im afraid, once you cross Moyes there's nothing down for you really as we've seen countless times before.

Regardless of what's happened, who's right and who's wrong, Moyes needs to sort this situation out pronto

We can't go until January with Vellios and Straq as our recognised strikers with our highest paid player sitting around. What do you reckon will happen with Saha? I'm presuming all transfer windows are shut now?

I think this is absolutly ridiculous. Saha is by far and away our best striker at the moment. Whenever he plays I always think osmething can happen. I really hope Moyes's stubborness doesn't cost us.

Absolute disgrace if Saha is banished because of Moyes' stubbornness. Sort this out, David, we can't go through to January with Denis and Vellios as our only strikers.

Always nice to see our main man's opinion on this

Lineker @louissaha08 Having looked at your ****s, twits or whatever the **** they are called, You're sacked.. Please hand in your kit when you leave.

I think Moyes wouldn't let him go. Sure Moyes is stubborn in these situations but I think he'll look for a reaction rather than cast him out in to the wilderness. With a tough October coming up this could be mind games for him 'Look Louis, you want to play? Prove it. Train hard, get in the team for Man City and show you're still hungry'.

If Louis sulks (I don't think he will, he seems like a stereotypical emotional frenchman on twitter :p ) then he'll be out the door in a bolt. I think he'll be in the starting lineup to play Man City. Vellios to start tonight, Straq on the bench.

Just my two pennys worth :)

I think we should judge this situation after the Man City game, maybe Moyes wants to hold him back incase he gets injured this evening. I fully expect to see Saha on the bench at Man City. Also, Moyes has every right to be pretty pissed at Saha. He was left out of the team as he hadnt trained and said he wasnt ready to play a friendly on the wednesday, he has no right to question the managers decision especially on twitter.

He refused to play for the reserves.....why ?

Bigger than the reserves.....?

Bigger than the club......?

Can he just walk into the side.....?

Adios.

Moyesie demonstrates his man management skills......

No one is bigger then the club. What message does it send to the rest of the team if Moyes just let him do what he likes? He does what he´s told like any other player . Moyes manages the team not Saha. He´ll be back when Moyes thinks his head is right and not before .
