Safety Screens for Cars

My mate has just joined Delta taxis whilst he is in University but he's worried about the strange people on the streets like people who pulls knives out on private taxi drivers.

I've had a little look around for like security but I can only find some for Hackneys. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't think i've seen a single shield in a Delta taxi in three years, and i use them a lot. Must not be worth the expense ?

sorry mate but if he's in the taxi, and they're on the street, can't he just drive past them ?

It's a hazard of being a taxi driver I'm afraid.

If someone pulls a knife on him he should be fine if he gives them what they want, be it money or sex

Tell him to sit in the back and get the customers to sit in the front where he can keep an eye on them
