Safe standing

Let's hope this encourages the FA to pressure the government to allow it here. It'd be so beneficial to English atmospheres.

As usual, the sweaties are way ahead of us...

No way will the Kopites allow it.

They'll march down the road, and start pointing fingers.

Oh, fwiw, this isn't an Anti-Hillsborough point, more of a Kopites want their own way thing.

I was able to view the rail seats installed at Bristol City last week, as my brother works for the club. I was very impressed, especially as seats are locked by the club so you don't get conflict between people who want to sit or stand in the same area. The maximum allowed for standing is 1.5 people for each seating area, which increases capacity but is still safe, although proposals are currently 1 for 1. I'm all for it. Two members of the Hillsbrough Families had a private viewing before the media launch and, whilst thinking it could be one step nearer to a return to old style terracing, acknowledged that it is safer within its current format. I think you will see it in the premier league quicker than you think, I believe there are at least 8 clubs currently interested.
I was wondering what the ratio would be. 1.5 people/seating allocation seems pretty reasonable and would assist the generation of atmosphere better than a thinly dispersed 1:1
