Interesting this.

I don't think any terrorist will be detonating any nuclear devices using ICBM's but I guess if N. Korea went off, it would be useful.

I don't see China doing anything that stupid. It worked with the old Soviet Union and it will work with any other civilized state that has nuclear capabilities. The concept is Deterrence.

Now....if a rogue state decides that in the name of it's religion, it wants to end life on earth as we know it, that's a bit scary because with them, deterrence doesn't mean squat. They'd rather see that happen and end their lives as martyrs while taking down as many of us as they can in the process.

I wish this was the diplomatic victory that it superficially seems like... it's got to be dire if Russia's joined with NATO with such haste.
