Ruperts tower

I'm over for the Lille game and have some time to play around with in Liverpool on the Friday and wanted to get a couple of photos with the tower.

Is it far from the town centre, could I walk there or would I have to get a taxi to it ?

Any help appreciated lads.

It's not that far but awkward to get to. You need to get to Everton park and it's on the town side of the park. not sure on the bus, perhaps the 20? walking is easy enough, about a 30 minute walk from city centre towarda the park.

Walking distance from the city centre, probably take about 30 mins. Straight up Islington then turn onto Shaw Street and it's on the right in the park facing the Georgian terraced houses.

It's about a ten-fifteen minute walk north from Lime St Station if that's any help - heading up London Rd.

also make sure you go there during the day, its a bit rough round there once it get dark and the riff raff come out of the woodwork IMHO.

I wouldn't say it's a thirty minute walk, probably about fifteen minutes from St George's Hall. Just walk up Islington and turn left at Staples and walk straight down that road and you can't miss it.
