Rumour: Yak and Yobo not going USA

If David Moyes is so horribly wrong about Yak and is prepared to sell him for less than he is worth, then why are there no takers ?
We are hoping that maybe a championship club will offer 2m or 3m for him,why is there no premiership club chasing him,why won't Wigan take him in part-exchange for Nzogbia, why won't Tony Pulis sign him for substantially less than they were prepared to pay for Carlton Cole.

The sad truth is that Yak is just not the player he was and it seems af if there are not many clubs interested in him.

You raise some good questions... I mean I'd take a one-legged Yakubu over Carlton Cole, like.

I don't think he'll ever be what he was, but I just think he's worth a lot more than we'll get for him. And we never usually sell players unless we're getting more than they're worth, so it's a hard pill to potentially swallow.

Id imagine there are not too many clubs willing to take a punt on him with the wages he,s looking for.

I remember now what his spat with moyes was about. After he scored v stoke last october he went to moyes looking for a new contract saying that he had proved he was over his achilles injury. Moyes didnt agree so yak spat the dummy, hence moyes dropped him and brought saha back into the team even though he hadnt scored in months. The rest is history.

I don't think I've ever heard that one before. Can you back it up, or can LCAB/THT confirm it?

Not saying it's not true, Dub mate, I'm just curious as to what actually happened.

I have a mad memory like that rfus.

It was lcab, im 99.9%(ijjy are you watching) certain. People were questioning why yak got bombed for saha after playing well against the ****e and stoke and curly told us this.

The fact is that people say Yak was dropped when he had just got back to form - but thats complete rubbish. He played well in the derby but the week after at Blackpool he was shockingly bad - as bad as hes ever been since he came - so he was hardly on top form was he!

He has never got back to form after his injury lets be honest.

I really liked Yakubu before his injury and part of me still hopes he might get back to the player he was but deep down i know its best for all parties if he finds a new club.

Did him and Yobo travel to US or not then ?
