Yobo is obvious but I'm mightily disappointed about the Yak. I had dreams of us keeping him after yesterdays' good performance.

We wont lose out on Yobo, but after the achiles injury we will never get close to the £11.25 mill we gave boro for Yak. It is a shame because he was capable of being a ruthless finisher, all power and muscle. Stumbling block is the money he is on, if he has to take a wage drop he will want a handshake for the privilege.

I called Dustbin Distin for the first few months or was it the other way round? Anyway, Big Vic Heskey is gash, if he was white, pink, yellow or gold with purple stars, he would still be gash.

Agreed.

I missed the game -- watched the highlights. Yak's goal was poachy, which is fine, but did he have a good game otherwise? He looked pretty exhausted in the highlights and we were only 15 minutes in. I know he's never been a gym rat but it just seemed kind of same old, same old to me. Little bit out of shape, flashes of undeniable talent, gets our hopes up, something goes wrong and it's another wasted season. I like him but I think it's just time to move on. Then again I think Beckford could score 20 this season so I might be criminally insane.
