Not a chance. A- he's a tit and B- they want to sell him.

Yeah, he's a bit full of himself, especially for someone who looked very poor in front of goal last season. As for B- Well, maybe it's possible nobody's willing to take a punt on such a transfer...

He's probably on bigger wages than we could afford - Arsenal unlikely to loan him to us in the first place, even more so if we're going to expect them to keep paying him at the same time.

He's a good player. I know he's not the best ever, but he's an improvement on Anichebe (as my couch would be, for that matter) and he'd add Premier League experience and depth to our squad.

However, for the wages he'd want and his overall disruptive attitude I think we should avoid.

NO. good god no. I have commented on him in another thread.

absolute yard dog with a seriously bad attitude

He embodies pretty much everything I hate about the modern day footballer. Delusional impression of his own ability and jsut a general snide.

No, his goals per game ratio for Arsenal is something like 1 in 8.

Anichebe's is 1 in 10.

Newsflash lads, we haven't got much to choose from. Top level strikers cost more and want higher wages than we can afford, so if it means putting up with his attitude, i'd take him over Anichebe in a heart beat.

I'm all for signing likeable players when we can, but i'd rather finish 5th and dislike one of our players than finish 7th again.
