Are you a Union or a League fan if either of those?

Has to be League for me and if you are a rugby fan then what team do you support?

I'm a Widnes Vikings fan who are currently top of National League one and at the moment the race for promotion is between Widnes and Castleford, the rest of the league is at a very poor standard and to many teams just crumble but thats more down to them being part time and then Widnes and Castleford the two big clubs who are full time.

Widnes are in tommorrows final of the Northern Rail Cup, in the lovley destination of .......... Blackpool. Top of the league against second from top of the league, should be a good game and if anyone is interested in League or wants to check it out, its on sky (y)

Union. League is for girls. ;)

I'm a big fan of Bath Rugby, thanks to some friends we've got down there. Have been to quite a few games including the Powergen Cup final at Twickers a few years back. We lost but it was a great experience. I also went down to see a Heineken Cup match against Bourgoin at the Rec. It pissed it down all afternoon and I was in the stand with no bleeding roof. I have never been so wet in my entire life. We won though so it was worth it :)

I prefer watching League (Wigan) but enjoy kick and clap when it's played properly, usually by the southern hemisphere teams. How many ex-Wigan boys do you lot have now? :D

Dennis Moran
Jordan James
Mark Smith
Mick Cassidy
Bob Beswick
Dean Gaskell
Oliver Wilkes

Not to many ...

I feel for you having Dennis Moran.

Shaun Edwards has Wasps playing some decent rugby but the England team remain woeful and will get stamped on in the WC if the Tri-Nations is anything to go by. Those three are head and shoulders above any European side.

i like league (wigan) went to every silk cup final in the late 80s and early 90s but just fell out with it and havent watched it for years. used to love watching hanley and edwards and offire and bottica but just dont watch ant more shame realy.

His support play was never bad, he just couldn't create for toffee. We had him and Danny Orr playing half back at the time, and both were better suited to support play, thus the onus was on Moran to create and lead the team around the field and he stank big time.

used to enjoy going to watch 'the wire' - some good memories of the wilderspool stadium - the tesco built/co-built halliwell jones stadium is a step up but it doesnt have the feel and the majesty that wilderspool will always retain.

The same as how Goodison and the new tesco stadium will feel, its an awful site to see Tesco on the same car park as the Halliwell Jones.
