I know basically nothing about Rugby. Just seen England have France and Argentina in their group. So are they favourites to go through? Arg and Fra are usually better than England aren't they?
I've no idea what the form of Argentina and France is currently like but we generally beat Argentina, don't think they've beat us for a good few years now.
We smashed France in the six nations but they go from superb to dreadful at the drop of a hat so I guess it just depends which version turns up on the day, always been close between us though, much more so than Argentina.
England have been playing well recently but I know better than to back England in any sport at a major tournament, so I'll just remain quietly optimistic without getting my hopes up too much.
So its really all about who avoids the kiwis when the comp really gets going after the group stages
Edit; unless the kiwis bottle it for some reason, but they've already lost once this season, which is usually their quota.
Will be having a few quid on South Africa to keep me interested. What times will these be on TV?

Dilemma is to stay up drinking through the night and try to survive or wake up and get on it.
I'd have to go for the second option if it were me, if I did the first I'd make it all the way to kick off and then nod off just before.

Annoyingly if the draw goes with the odds then England will face the All Blacks in the semi finals.
I'm actually going to Japan for 2 weeks for the tournament. Got tickets for the 2 quarter finals in Oita which will be the ones England are in (assuming we get through!). Then will be in Tokyo for the semis but don't have tickets for that. Will be fun being there anyway.
