Six Nations to be concluded on so called Super Saturday 31st October with Ireland's game in hand at home vs Italy on 24th October.

That's some time ahead and it's been so long since it was paused that it's difficult even to remember how we left it.

This post then should act as a reminder of the position if things go to plan and they're played on the last Saturday in October

England with one game left to play in Rome are in pole position to win it ahead on points difference of France who play Ireland in Paris. Ireland should overtake England and stand in first place, at least on points difference, by beating Italy by at least ten points in Dublin the week before - and a point ahead if they do so with a bonus point earning four tries. Wales also meet Scotland, Scotland are still in theoretical contention but aren't at all in reality.

France have been strong at home and will be favourites in Paris to beat Ireland which should mean England take the championship in Rome the same day.

Looking forward to see how a socially distanced scrum works.

Looking at the rugby taking place in the Southern Hemisphere in their multi nation franchise based competition, including Australia, New Zealand and South Africa the scrums have been unrestricted with crowds allowed in Covid free (virtually anyway) New Zealand. I would suspect that will be the template and we'll get normal scrummaging but rather like the cricket, the team's may have to enter a restricted Covid free bubble and stay quarantined in hotels so many days before the game

Uncontested scrums have taken place before in games when there are injuries with no replacement props available on the bench. They are just similar to rugby league scrums - a farce.

Disappointed to get a sensible answer if I'm honest! lol
