well it was a shocking result but i do have a few issues... they played the game in an 80,000 seat stadium they didnt even get 30,000 people the stadium is an aft ground way to big for a rugby league may ... and to play it in melbourne which isnt an league state like nsw ..... they should of played it in a smaller stadium

Yeah, the Halliwell Jones stadium (where Samoa are based for the WC) it finished England 30 - 10 Exiles. First half was quite something with I think two full length field tries scored.
[side note: LFC reserves used to be based there and in a scorching night of football Everton came from behind twice to wrap up a 3-2 against their nearest and dearest neighbours]

can't understand why our reserves didn't go there tbh. left Widnes when they put a placky pitch down to play closed door games at Finch Farm, and r/s had vacated to go to Saints new ground. Made perfect sense imo.
