Hahaha. They have so many hypocritical blind spots its unbelievable. I'm reading the comments on McNultys BBC blog and they're all trying to defend what happened and deflect and every single other football fan is saying it's a disgrace.

I think my hatred for them is at an all time high today
 

Here's a text sent to me by my ex boss (Kopite) yesterday:

'Its been a few hrs since the game.. So upon reflection defo not a sending off but you were beaten by a better team! Sure you ll scrap top half mate lol'

Unbeleivable. Just unreal.

I bet they werent saying that after the Spurs game last week.

And it took them a bloody loooooong time to score 1 goal against 10men and had a defensive balls up to score another...against 10 men.
 
Unless Gerrard comes back and still has the legs to carry them for the entire season they'll be just as ****e as us.
 

Self appointed best fans in the werld. The mask has slipped badly in the past ten/twenty years however. They know it and hate it.

Its easy to be gracious when you're winning, they've shown themselves to be petulant and shallow when they're not. With a misplaced sense of entitlement.
 
They do realize it's not relevant how good they were in the 70's anymore than anyone really cares all that much about all of our league titles? History is important and should be a source of pride for any club's supporters - ours and theirs - but Sheffield Wednesday were one of the biggest clubs in England for a very long time, and you couldn't make the argument they have any right to self entitlement these days. If there's 2 things I can't stand it's hypocrisy and delusion among fan bases.

They honestly think no other club in the world has any history

The single worse thing to happen in my short life was them winning the CL in 2005,It gave a whole generation of RS fans something to bore the piss out of you with in the pub
