Mate it was already named after Prince Albert in the 1850’s.

I know.

And truth be told if I had ever given it even a minute’s thought I would have guessed its official name was already the Royal Albert Dock.

My bewilderment is that some people here in Century 21 would be getting all warm and fuzzy and feel it was great “honour” that the word “Royal” is to be its prefix.
