Roy Keane as a pundit

And if he starts crying about it just tell him you're doing what he does and telling it like it is.

See if the big whopper can take it as well as dish it out.

Probably not, he'll wait till you're walking away and then try a double leg breaker from behind on you.

I get the impression Scholes was never very forgiving about how his time at England came to an end. And, he'd have a point too.
As for Keano, admire the drive and commitment but he was a glorofied leg breaker - possibly the best of his era but a glorified leg breaker all the same. He'll end up being noted for being one of Clough's finds and a footnote in time for the sport where it was still all about boozing and battling.
I reckon Keane might be the most successful player to start out just the other side of the super professional era and come through the transition in the manner and with the respect he has done.

Nope, he was an incredible mid-field player who was instrumental in a team who won leagues and European titles. You don't do that if you're a 'glorified leg breaker'. Think what you want about the man but he was a great player.
