I ridiculed Steve McClaren because he his a good awful manager, one of the worse around. He got plaudits at Boro for winning the Carling Cup and getting to the Europa League final, but never finishing in top half after spending a fair bit of wonga.

He went to Holland and won the league, not the hardest thing to do; he turned a good wolfsburg team, who where 10th the previous season into relegation candidates, then turned a half decent Nottingham Forrest, on the verge of promotion the previous couple of seasons under Billy Davies, into relegation fodder.

The mans a joke

McClaren's 04-05 team finished 7th and went to the final 16 of UEFA cup. 05-06 went to the UEFA cup final and the FA cup semis which is why they finished so far down the league table that year. McClaren is a decent manager who needs the right fit.

As far as Hodgson being too negative well being negative wins in international footie tourneys.

Don't say I'm incorrect when I'm clearly not.

Please compare our squad to say, Germany or Holland or France ... Then come back to me.

Ijjy's dead right here, the players aren't as boss as some make out, they're hyped up by the media, it's why when England lose there's death threats and a national mourning. There's a couple of world class players, Rooney, Gerrard on his day, Lampard on his day, and Baines, but there's weak spots, and you can't have any weak spots in an international team if you want to win something.

Good to see Murdochs sun in trouble. Even with his ass on the line, the inbred sputum diseases he employs can carry his gauntlet on.

I think its a bit unfair the way everyone is on his case before he's even took his coat off, he is charged with the job so lets give him a chance.
