It was just the first Barkley rumour I'd seen. We've had to endure a lot of this with Rodwell and I expect us to endure even more with Ross!

Good thing I've finally learnt to not believe anything a paper writes about transfers. That said I'm sure any team would welcome him in their setup.

As things stand, its entirely plausible he'll leave within a couple of seasons. The club will remain stagnant while he'll develop to a level where the media will be screaming about it in outrage that he's playing for us.
