Ross Barkley extension

I am far from a Moyes apologist, but I think he has done the right thing in shielding the likes of Barclay from our current run of fixtures - anyone without blue tinged specs could see that there were maybe 4 points from the 15 available in the run of games from city to united (actually looking like it could be zero unless we get something from fulham). better to let the young lads avoid being part of this run and bring them in fresh when we face opponents we can compete with.

I cling to the hope that this has been a deliberate plan, and we will see the likes of barclay, gueye, vellios etc more involved after the united game.

I seriously hope your right. I see what you're saying but don't you think exposing these young guns to these top teams would help them in their development and our team's future rather then persisting with same old, same old with gets us no results.I rather see us compete with the top teams and fight for win then try and defend all game and savage for a draw...Maybe that's just my mentality.

Our team has become stale. We always do the same subs, drenthe on for coleman, neville on then vellios on 5 mins to go. WHYYYY!

Really hoping Barclay will become good a player too :)
I agree though and I think the fulham game will be a good game to start Vellios, Barkley and maybe gueye
