Rooney - where would he fit in?

Don't bite my head off or nothing, just seen him and united may part ways in the papers (probably jarg) but it got me thinking about where he would actually fit in our squad

Many wouldn't want to see Jelavic dropped and certainly wouldn't want to see Fellani dropped so that Rooney can play behind the striker. People would instantly say 4-4-2 but I don't want to see Fellani deep anymore after seeing what his attacking qualities are like. So where would you place him and who would you drop?

This is picking up speed now, Rooney to us on loan, and even swap with Fellaini has been mooted.

Rooney can play anywhere, but he wouldn't come back to us, because we couldn't pay his wages. As I understand it, he is on about Â£250,000 a week at Man Utd. That is probably 5 times what most of our first team players get. Only a Champions League team could afford him, Arsenal could be an option for him, other than that he would probably be looking at a team outside the premier league in Italy or Spain.

I wasn't saying this is going to happen but just if it did. But to be fair he does still seem to have a blue heart and would he be willing to take a massive wage cut to come on loan especially with RVP now taking his spotlight.
