Rooney not wanted by Man ure any more

If he comes to us at 30, he might not be up to much.

He started young, has suffered injuries, he looks jaded at times now.

It's now or never really.

I'll be honest, I didn't see Moyes going to UTD and Ferguson retiring in the space of 24hrs either.

We can't afford to buy him, for footballing reasons like trophies, euro competition and obviously financial reasons agents could engineer a move to a euro club I suspect.

I don't see any of that applying to Everton though, it would have to be a loan? Surely.

I'd love him now but we couldn't afford the transfer fee they'd want, can't see it happening.

Who knows, Bungs...the kids got a pair on him, that's twice now he's put it on Ferguson which, if you follow the media BS, is a no-no. Obviously Ferguson thinks so too, if he's given him the cold one today...don't know, I haven't seen it. But I really don't think he wants to play for us, TBH, regardless.

I can't see him moving abroad, think he said the same in the past. He and his family seem settled in the North.

If he were to go to another PL club what would he hope to achieve? He's already won everything, does he really need more money?

I could see him making a U-turn, but what would that say about him and the club? I think over the course of this season he has been slowly moved on, if they get Ronaldo he would slip further down the pecking order.

Of course, I don't know how Everton could take him on unless he dropped his wages and a player moved in the opposite direction.

Maybe we could do a straight swap for Fellaini and get Rooney to accept £50k a week haha. I can't imagine he's looking forward to sticking around with Moyes there.

He was going no where 'til Stretford turned him.

You really cannot blame a kid for being pressured by his agent like that.

Had Stretford not have been involved, it would have panned out very differently.

Agree Stretford turned him, assisted by Stubbs, Kenwright etc. He would have been a much better player and person now if he'd done two more years at Everton though, is the point I was trying to make.

He will end up staying at Man u with a new pay rise, no way they will sell him to their rivals such as Cheslea or City, cant see him going abroad for a huge fee.

Alan Stubbs who had shares in Stretford agent company and was part of the plan in getting Rooney to ditch his agent for Stretford. This is the reason I don't want Stubbs near the manager role or the assistant role.
