we shouldn't even take him to the euros or play him in the build up. We need to build a team without him.

It wouldn't be fair on Bent or whoever to ask him to get us through the group stage then drop him for the knock outs.

Perhaps missing a major tournamnet would make the dumb cnut wake up to himself.
 

Eh, it happens. It's a fair ban. Mind Rooney's starting to give me a few Alexander Frei flashbacks like. Last major tournament we went to he was out of form, one before that he was injured.

But there won't be a single team at that tournament who'll have all their key players available for every single game. You have to make do. If missing one player destroys us as a team, we were never good enough anyway.
 

****ing pathetic. It's only because it's England anyway. Any other player for any other country would have got the 1 game ban. ****ing ****s. **** the **** off UEFA/ FIFA you corrupt ****ehawkes.
 
I'm not disputing that domestically it would have been a three game ban, but considering that the tournament is potentially only three games long as it is, and also due to the fact that it's a completely new phase of the tournament, a 1 game band should be the maximum. It really is only because it's England and Sepp Blatter and Platini hate us. This is Clattenburg proportions of transparent bias.
