Bain Capital paid £230m for the majority stake in the company, which supplies the NHS with treatments for haemophilia and immune deficiencies. I suspect blood plasma products are about to get a whole lot more expensive. Can't help but feel someone in the UK govt. took a bung for this.

To be honest, this is nothing new, really. Lots of ancillary services (for the NHS) are private anyway. The drug companies already clean up, cash-wise.

I disagree with the principal of course, but it's nothing to panic over, in my opinion.
