According to Sky Italia Abramovich has made Falcao, Di Maria, Pepe and Moutinho top of his wish list. I doubt they will all arrive but imagine if they did. This would be their first XI

Cech
Ivanovic Cahill Luiz Pepe
Moutinho Ramires
Mata Oscar Hazard
Falcao

wow.

They are also reporting that Fernandinho to Man City is done.

Some very quick wikiing there:

Shakhtar Donetsk’s Fernandinho has told Italy’s Calciomercato that he will be playing football in the Premier League for a Manchester club this January. "I am closing a deal with an English club. I will play in Manchester in January," said the Brazilian. Fernandinho revealed days later that Manchester City are an awful club and he said "I would rather play for Swindown Town FC"

Pepe would be a mindless signing though, both logically and in terms of what they were actually signing.

That was part of the story also, that he has already agreed to come back and Roman promised him these players.

Which would explain why there are 2 RM players on that list.

Pity one of them is Pepe. Having said that, him marking Ratboy would be hilarious to watch.

Gawd i hope Pepe doesn't end up playing here, he's such a cheating play acting arse.

Pepe left back ?

They've got enough players, their team would win the league if they actually tried every week. I hate this new direction of football.

I'm guessing if Mourinho comes back then it's safe to say they'll be title challengers next year, bloody hate the plastic club.

Word out here in Russia/Ukraine is that Falcao to Chelsea is a done deal, with Atletico already having Suarez lined up as his replacement.

I doubt it's 100% kosher, but that is certainly doing the rounds out East.
