Beckham with a surprise start and played very well.

In fact, I'd say that he was Milan's best performing midfielder today. Pirlo and Seedorf had awful matches.

I watched that match it was pretty good. God what has come of Ronaldinho? I agree with what the guardian said of Golden Balls. He wasn't great but good enough to not be subbed.

Golden Balls, not good enough to cut it in MLS but can play semi-decent in Serie A. WE GOT THE BEST LEAGUE IN THE WORLD!!!!!!

Serie A has fallen a long way from its glory days in the early 90's. Milan now are such an old team.

The game is so corrupt over there it's no surprise it's having an effect on the league. They still have some of the world's best players though.

I actually don't agree.

Beckham played fairly well. Nothing flashy but was efficient for the most part. Pato was the only other Milan player that stood out for me.

Some of Becks crosses didn't get past the first man. He started the match in the defensive midfield role and nothing got by him. Moved out on the wing in the 2nd half where Pirlo ignored him and tried the clever through pass instead. Never came off though.

I think Beckham had a good match overall and certainly didn't hurt his chances of more playing time.
