Rodwell?

Just wondering why he isn't in the squad for the Sunderland game? Heard he was pretty fit and ready to go along with Gosling?

Also while I am on the subject of Rodwell I was just wondering if we have the capacity to keep him and possibly Baxter and Gosling when in particular Rodwell become huge.

Do you think we will let them go for the money or try to really hold onto them for dear life?

Just interested to hear some thoughts on this. A lot of Man U supporters seem pretty confident they will be able to snap him up and I have a feeling they may.

Will loyalty and devotion to Everton help our cause or is it all about money for these players? Interested to hear your thoughts.

I assume your Man utd supporting friends are unaware of their current financial situation. I doesn't look like they'll be splashing big bucks soon. Chelsea apparently made a tentative enjuiry which was rebuffed.

Rodwell is a great prospect with fantastic potential but has shown some inexperience this season. He'd cost a fair amount of money to make Moyes agree to part with him at this stage of his career so I suspect he'll be staying for the next few years at least. Things can obviously change, players heads can be turned but everything Rodders has said so far suggests he is happy to keep on developing with us.

I'd tell your Utd mates to just hope they can bring on some of their own prospects.

Rodwell is defo one for the future. Everton is the place for him to develop into the talent he can be, and also if England want him for the future they need to encourage him to stay where he is and not become a rotation player. Look how many players have not achieved in the past because of their moves to 'bigger' clubs
