Hello mate.

I really like Jack, got a few good memories of him like the goal against United at Goodison.

Unfortunately I said 'no' because he is always injured. I really wanted him to come good, even at City, but I think 10mil could've been spent way better by a club that needs a CM.

Good luck to you lads next season, we can relate in the sense that we have awful neighbours too ;)

I wish all our ex players well but truthfully, he was, is and always will be just bang average. Thats being kind to the lad after someone said i was being harsh yesterday in his other thread.

He is a Rolls-Royce of a footballer.

Unfortunately he's made of glass, so no, probably not a good signing.

Like the lad, though, and hope he can get his career back on track at Sunderland.

had all the potential in the world as a young player but one who seemed to believe his own hype
he is supposed to be a bit of a big time Charlie and has a poor work ethic in the training environment and has a reputation for being unmotivated

now or never for him hope he can sort his career out just glad we never brought him back

Rolls Royce of a player ? lol

The poor lad logs onto our forum and wants honest and truthful opinions on a player they have just shelled out 10 million for and 2 of the first 6 replies has us mentioning rolls royce of a player.

In my opinion, his development as a player seemed to stop at 17.

He had such great potential and came through so early it looked like he was going all the way to the top. The next step was to start grabbing games by the scruff of the neck, but he never had the balls.

He ended up being an annoyingly passive crab of a midfielder that I was absolutely over the moon to get £13m for.

He's not an awful player by any means and has talent, but I probably would have cried if we'd re-signed him.

He's alright - if he can stay injury free, which so far in his career, he hasn't been able to.

Bit of a crab, and lacks confidence for someone so obviously athletic, wish him well.

Potentially good.

You paid too much and I doubt he'll see the pitch enough to even remotely be worth it.

I hope I'm wrong and he goes on to do well, he seems a nice player but he's never fit and seems short on confidence.

Nah.

There's a footballer there locked inside the prison of his own head.
Yea, they need to throw him into a shark infested pool for a bit to open his eyes a bit, hypnotise the Moyes out of him, and stop his Mum going to training with him - without getting him injured, obviously, lol

He's never really had a season where he's consistantly been a 1st choice in the middle. I think he'll get that at your place and will prove to be a decent player. £10 million Quid's worth of a good player though? I'm not so sure
