Roda JC player breaks down in tears after "Referee insults his Mum"

During Saturdays 5-1 defeat by Heracles Almelo in the Eredivisie, Roda JC midfielder Danilo Pereira broke down in tears on the pitch after an exchange with the referee following his receiving a caution. It was alleged by Pereira that the referee had used insulting language towards his mother. It took the player several minutes to begin playing again after being consoled by his team mates.

Following the game, the referee denied the claim and no further action has been taken by either RJC or the KNVB.

A truly bizarre incident. Never seen anything like that.
