Rock 'n' Roll pronounced dead....

This is the gospel. Although I always get slightly annoyed at myself for not having heard of them before if they're not actually a new band. But the point remains it's a total high when that happens and you realize there's this treasure trove of songs just waiting to be discovered.

Definitely with you there mate.

I especially love getting into a band that's been going for a good few years. That way you can get their entire discography, and listen to the natural evolution they would have taken. I did this with Radiohead when I first got into them, and I was -- and am to this day -- just completely fascinated by their evolution, and perpetual quality.

This is actually my first British Sea Power album, so I can't compare it to their other stuff. Loving this though. "Stunde Null" is the standout track so far... sounds like Franz Ferdinand with a rocket up their arse. Good album all round though, not heard anything quite like it.

Firing it up right now and will give a listen. Thanks for the tip lads.

Glasvegas appear to be bringing back Rock n Roll. This thread is alive with the sound of music!

There's a bit about Kings of Leon turning down Glee, with Glee's creator calling them assholes for doing so...hmmm
