Aren't results pleasing on the eye from an Everton perspective and bad tactics/defending ugly, or is it the other way around or somewhere in between?

Don't think Ranieri plays a particularly ugly brand of football - it is hardly Big Sam/Tony Pulis style which I'd struggle to stomach even if we were threatened with relegation.

Can we actually not pay these over hyped managers the credence of suggesting they have a brand of football which is even worthy of note.

Ranieri is just having a good season and has got the best out of his players and used them well. Martinez won a cup with Wigan which is no mean feat, however he seems to prefer life in the bottom half of the league so his "brand of football" actually isn't very effective in winning games.
