I'm of the belief that the cream always rises to the top.

Except in my case as my face didn't fit and really I should be leading the line for the Blues now!

BTW wouldn't surprise me to see a player of his calibre ending up and Man Utd this summer. Writing's on the wall for Rooney IMO.

Is there a single top player who wasn't scouted or on trial at some crappy lower league english club?

Their seems to be a rumour about everyone, how gullit was rejected by ipswich and sheff utd had a a chance to buy maradaona and sheff wed turned down cantona etc etc.

and Lewandowski seems to be going the same direction. English clubs have been told not to bother with him as he has agreed with another club

If that happens I reckon one of Gomez/Pizzaro will go and I also think Robben will leave.
