Linked with him every year, I think this summer will be the last time it could happen. I think he would go well with the current centre backs at Everton!

Huthâ€™s representatives are scheduled to meet the Pottersâ€™ top brass next week, with boss Tony Pulis keen to resolve the contract stand-off.

The defender has been in deal negotiations for most of the year but is yet to reach an agreement.

Everton and Sunderland are monitoring developments as the Germany international, a former Chelsea youth player, has only a year left on his current contract.

Pulis said: â€œWe are desperately keen to try to get Robert sorted out. Weâ€™ve been talking to him for the last three months, but whatever happens we will not be trying to cash in on him.â€

I think hes utter GASH.

No, hes actually beyond Gash, hes terrible, no, actually hes possibly 1 of the worst footballers ive ever seen.

this is 1 position we don't need to think about.jagielka,heitinga,distin and duffy,wheres the need for huth or any other centre back.we need attack minded players.
