Player Valuation: £500k
Saw this on another forum and thought it might be of interest to people to do one on here.

I'll update the OP as of when players leave/sign.

Glen Johnson
José Enrique
Daniel Agger
Luis Suárez
Steven Gerrard (captain)
Philippe Coutinho
Jordan Henderson
Daniel Sturridge
Sebastián Coates
Stewart Downing
Lucas Leiva
Joe Allen
Pepe Reina
Fabio Borini
Suso
Raheem Sterling
Martin Škrtel
Luis Alberto
Iago Aspas
Simon Mignolet

That's the basis of the players most likely to be in and around the first xi next year.

For me Rodgers has been very smart in the transfer window and has been reversing the terrible mistakes that were previously made. Getting rid of Carroll for the fee touted was well played, and getting Mignolet, Coutinho, Sturridge etc, for the prices touted has been smart business.

With Mignolet they have one of the best goalkeepers in the league that was a huge difference in Sunderland fighting off relegation last season.

Defence wise they will need to add a player depending if someone leaves, but they were fairly wise in getting Toure as cover and an experienced head with Carragher gone. Papadopolous would be an outstanding coup if they pulled it off, as he is potentially one of the best CBs in Europe.

Midfield wise they look fairly promising. Coutinho is technically a quality player which is exactly what Rodgers likes, but i think they may need to sign another CM as Henderson/Allen aren't good enough for a top 4 side unless they're a squad member and Lucas doesn't really look the player who was very good in THAT one season. Suso did look quality when playing for Spain though.

Striker wise...you have to ponder that Suarez looks likely to leave, especially considering the signings of Aspas and Alberto. Sturridge last season in games looked great at times and other times looked his selfish awful self again. He's too hit and miss currently and will need to wise up as he has the potential. Don't know much about Aspas but Alberto was very good for Barca B and the only reason they didn't take up the offer is that they weren't willing to pay so much, there was no doubt in his ability.

All in all, i think this may be the season they overtake us. I don't think they have enough yet to push on and become a top 4 side, but i do think that they'll snatch 6th and possibly push for 5th place if they make a few more signings. Potentially they look like they could be a strong team.

Goalkeeper : Decent
Defence : Tosh
Midfield : Utter Tosh
Attack : Pyar Tosh

I think they will struggle to maintain a top 10 finish, they have ZERO players of any quality in their entire squad.

They have signed a decent keeper and a load of young tosh mainly from Spain, in short, they wont finish above us unless they get a good Manager who actually has a clue, the only way they will finish above us this Season is if Martinez signs utter tosh from Wigan.

Eh, possibly because they will most likely be one of our biggest rivals next season in terms of league position? Sorry for looking past the "Liverpool are ****s" jibes to try and get a decent discussion about how teams around us that we will be jostling for position look.

I get bored on Footy manager, and only play Fifa every hour and again.. so I have never heard of the lads they have signed..

Rivals for what ?
Top 4 ? - Forget it.

If we finish above Villa, Saints, Liverpool - and do the cup runs well.. Its a good season..
Chelsea, City, Utd.. and Arsenal (will have a massive season..) Spurs will play good stuff also..

Realistically our rivals next Season are Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea, United and City, we shouldnt need to concern ourselves with the Fulhams, Liverpoos and Swanseas.

I said League position, which is most likely 5th - 8th.

Proven quality? Bah, potential these days can be a strange thing, they can outburst in a single season or take a few seasons to fully nurture. This Liverpool side could go either way but it would be stupid to write them off.

LOLZ JOKEZ LIVERPOOL WILL BE ****E LADS.

No honestly, all the players are pyar tosh.

Im being honest mate, they dont have a single player that I would trade for 1 our ours, apart from a Keeper.

Im excluding Sewerz, cos he will be gone and cos I dont care how good he is, theres no way I would trade him for any of ours, not even Naismith.
