The Cowboy

Player Valuation: £60m
All this talk about Stones going to be the greatest player in existence had me thinking: which players really looked like they were going to be amazing, even reaching the top briefly, only to fizzle out?

I'm thinking of Berahino for example, who seemed destined for a great career but I fear is fading fast.

I don't just mean hot academy prospects but those who actually get a run in the first team.

Not world class or anything, but I thought Michael Ball was nailed on for a strong career in the prem. Had a lot of ability coming up for us - we were so bad at the time, though, that prob anyone half decent would stand out.
