The Riquelme rumours just wont go away will they?

According to SoccerVoice.com, Everton could be on the verge of bringing one of the worlds best footballers in Juan Roman Riquelme to Goodison Park... should we manage to get rid of James Beattie.

SoccerVoice also claim Riquelme spent last season on loan at River Plate, which isn't true as he was at Boca Juniors... which immediately sends alarm bells ringing towards the credibility of their story.
 

Not only that but you are getting as bad as Chico! What have you been smoking or drinking making up a story like that.:huh:

The fact that riquelem has played great in the copa america makes this rumour even more far-fetched, with clubs like juventus and real madrid intrested in signing him. But still i have faith that moyes will bring him to our club...
 
well, it wouldn't be the first time a "big name" player has gone to a PL club just for the hell of it.

1:st question.. whats with the points? Haven't figured out the use for those yet..

back to thread. Well.. it wouldn't be the first time players leave good clubs to play for lesser ones due to "wanting a new challenge". Just look at Gravesen who left us for Real Madrid. :P

I know which one I would believe. I even wrapped quotation marks around it and made up a blag agent name with an African sounding surname.
