Just found out Eli Wallach died on Tuesday. Good innings - 98!

What a super actor. Great memories.

Think (yet) another viewing of The Good The Bad and The Ugly is in order this weekend.

Shame that, what an age though, was still working until a 2010. That means Robert Vaughn is the last of the Magnificent 7 still riding.

Edit - He was anyway, tbf, Wallach wasn't one of the actual 7.

Didn't he really get in to character when he did the Magnificent 7 and used to spend a few hours a day leading all the other Mexican bandits on a big ride before filming started, created a genuine them against us atmosphere on set.
