Not a single dissenting voice to be heard with regards to the greatest sports commentator ever imho. Even all the drivers loved Murray. .................. awaiting Davek entrance into the thread.

When ITV ditched Football League regional live matches for F1, i dreaded what it would be like.
I was grateful Murray was still on the commentary and the same on-screen caption graphics for some reason still existed, even if it meant too many ad breaks accompanied by the Texaco logo and later a Honda engine.
Is amazing ITV lasted so long with their F1 contract, despite peeving off so many people with the stupid grid walk in which hardly anyone wanted to talk to the guy and the ad breaks.
Still, Murray made it worth watching, I would have put the German channel on the Sky box otherwise.

Hahah how much better snooker would be with Murray commentating that was brill.
