RIP James Nolan .

James , a 21 year old from Blessington went missing in the Polish town of Bydgoszcz where he been drinking with friends on saturday night .

A body has been recovered from a local river and is understood to be James .

Who cares how we did in the euros this is the worst news of all .

Thoughts are with his family and friends at this awful time .

RIP James .

When I first heard about this story I feared the worst. Going missing in Eastern Europe never ends well. RIP James. Hope they find the scum who did it but I doubt The Policja are arsed.

Story is there was a fight between a group of Irish and a group of locals and he got seperated.

Could be coincidence of course. Anyway tragic accident or foul play, nothing really good can come out of this.

Just wanted to point out nik, that he or his friends were not involved in any fight. I think its important to set the record straight on that point.

Everyone over here is absolutely gutted about this. We were over there supporting our team the only way we know how, giving them our full backing and james stood shoulder to shoulder with us. Its a tragic accident, what happened to him, and all our thoughts and prayers are with his family now at this traumatic time.
