One of the football gods. I think he must have had a gift like Nicholas Cage in 'Next'. He seemed to know what was going to happen on the pitch before anyone else.

RIP Gerhard Muller.

One of my heroes when I was young. What a striker. So strong for a small guy, pace to burn and had a great knack of finding space in the box. The closest I can think of in build and style of play was Lineker. But Gerd Muller was up there with the greatest predatory strikers the game has ever seen
