Allardyce Out
Just been watching clips from the Golden Globes that he hosted the other day...

The guy really is hilarious :D He had no time for the egos in Hollywood, he just went to town.

Basically calling Tom Cruise a closet homosexual at an awards ceremony xD

Priceless! Watch the clips on YouTube if you get a chance!

Didn't he once say at an awards show..."Hi, I'm from a little place called England, we used to run the world before you...."..

Classic.

He sure did. Weirdly, my favourite Gervais line too secret twin Muggins

I'm a big Gervais fan, I can't think of much he's done that hasn't made me laugh a lot. Extra's, Office, Idiot Abroad, plus his stand ups and Presenting Award Ceremonies etc etc....nice to see him making it big in the US too

Go England!

My favourite moment in 'An Idiot Abroad' so far is when Pilkington got a text from Gervais saying "75p". Because everytime he sends a text it costs Pilkington 75p to recieve it. Classic.

Ironically just watched his new HBO special last night. I think he's really funny, but he's clearly at his best when he's taking on religion and hypocrisy. The bit he did about science, the number of actual species in the world, and the Noah's Ark children's book was borderline genius.

I take it back, this is superb

I'm a big fan, he is funny, but I have found he's like marmite - people love him or loathe him.
Extras was class (although heavily influenced by one of his heroes Larry David and his cringefest ' Curb your Enthusiasm' show) - THe Ricky Gervais Show Podcasts/Cartoons are hilarioius too, though much of that is down to the philosophy and beliefs of a certain Karl Pilkington.

We're about to kick off the "Idiot Abroad" series in the States on Science Channel, of all things. That Pilkington looks like a classic Manc knob, he does. Looking forward to it. Haven't seen him before - hilarity should ensue.

Looks at pyramids - "that's a death trap - the council should pull it right down..." (snort) Heh.

If you get HBO, watch "The Ricky Gervais Show". It's a cartoon depiction of a podcast they did a few years ago. Pilkington is one of a kind. It's really funny.
