And we go into the season with Kone, Niaise and a West Ham reject as our back up to Lukaku?

On the back.of a billionaire takeover and a shiny new manager?

Right now I'd have preferred taking a £15m punt on a Jordan Rhodes, Andre Gray or Danny Bloody Ings.

And Bony went to Stoke?!?

Heads need to roll for this shambles of a window.
Williams, Stekelenberg, Gueye, Bollasie are all valuable additions. Just because they didn't happen on Sky sports deadline day doesn't make them any less important.

I'd question whether they are truly additions. Certainly the first two are merely replacements for Stones and Howard. Gueye yes he's been great so far and very welcome. Bollaise - God only knows!

My point is there are key areas we needed strengthening and we've not done that.

Our net spend was £5m, the three promoted sides was Hull £13m, Burnley £21m, Middlesbrough £15m. Still behaving like a small club us.

Are they all playing for us for free?

Ever thought that we had players we wanted but their clubs didnt want to sell (something we should know all about...)

Beyond that maybe we didnt think that it was worth going for a second rate version of these players? That would be proper panic buying.
