I]I've posted here because Rhys was a Blue and the post is intended for Blues everywhere, members or not.[/I]

At this Christmas time can we Blues just spare a thought for the devastated parents of young Rhys who's life was viciously snatched away from him at such an early age.

Their torment will continue for years to come, the callous swine who pulled the trigger still goes free and will no doubt have a normal Christmas while those poor folk suffer so much.

If you say prayers, do so, if you don't just spare a thought, may the little lad rest in peace God love him

Thanks so much for that Bainsey, I will do an open RIP next week, I had just read tonights Echo, headlines about his parents and it really touched my old heart..........................stuff of nightmares

indeed, especially when his dad commented on the traditional boxing day game.

they have the torture of his birthday, when his brother gets married, grand children all to come.

not least the silence on the streets that continues to provide refuge for the person with the gun and the [Poor language removed] that put it in that persons hands.

hope this christmas isnt too difficult for them and the extended family.

Any news on suspects. Heard a name being banded round, but a witch hunt may have got the better of some. Hope Rhys is loving watching the blues up their, he'll be in great company.

It puts my own miniscule problems into perspective when I think of the pain that the family are going through. The death of any child is a tragedy and although i come across people dying every day in my job, this young lad's death has really touched me more than I could imagne.
Sometimes I wonder what sort of [Poor language removed] world I live in.
