A brief intro:
I know JDawg is a KC guy, and you could do worse for a quality fanbase of non-blerts, but their baseball team just doesn't win much any more. However, they wear the official approved Everton color and have a lovely modern stadium. They are the Royals of Ciudad de Kansas.
My baseball club has a warehouse full of low-info blert fans and a history of futility unmatched in baseball history (The Cubbies! They so cute!!), along with a hard, gnarled, bitter core of some of the most knowledgeable fans you could find anywhere. On the other hand, a beautiful day at Wrigley Field is as close to sports paradise as I will ever be. You come in from the west or south and it just emerges from the northside of Chicago, just south of Graceland cemetery (how appropriate) or you jump off the El a block away and hang in Wrigleyville absorbing beer and grub until the gates open. It's a beautiful thing. OH, they are putrid so far in 2014, though. (Really, Theo? is this the best you can do?) When they are good though, though. Ah, it is so sweet. You know you can smell the victory, but in the end, you'll snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and blame some poor [Poor language removed] who reached out for a foul ball from his truly ace seat from hell.
