How often do you go the game mate?
....little these days to be fair but I'm old and have more than done my share. Even as a kid I was always a watcher, was fortunate enough to see us win it in 1963 and every championship afterwards. I played a bit but went to every game I could until I stopped playing and watched home and away through the 80s and 90s.
I don't know why I have never been voiciforous, I love my footy and I love Everton but it must be the type of bloke I am.
The manager picks the team, the buck lies with him.
Does that mean you think the players hold no responsibility over results? I agree that the manager is the one individual with the most influence and is therefore ultimately responsible, but surely the players shouldn't get off that lightly?
Fair play, was only asking as I like hearing the views of match going fans as I don't meet any day to day. Have you noticed less effort from the players lately?

Yes and no
....I have a fear that something isn't quite right with the player/manager relationship. I might be totally wrong but I was concerned with the demeanour of the players in the tunnel and that was reflected with the lethargy on the pitch.
Care to expand mate?
That's interesting, if the relationship between the manager and players deteriorates too badly then usually the managers time is up. Just look at what happened to Jose at Chelsea.
Well I don't boo and I don't sing eitherHow often do you go the game mate?

Well I don't boo and I don't sing either
Far from it my good man I just think years of following the blues has made me indifferentNot in the prawn sandwich brigade are you Sir?
What are your thoughts on manager vs player responsibility for results?
I boo in tune.
What do I win?

My feeling is if the manager sets out a team to play a certain way and that doesn't work and he continues to play that way then it's the managers fault.......
