Alan Stubbs’ second string were due to face the Latics at Robin Park on Tuesday afternoon but torrential overnight rain has made the surface unplayable.
The clash will now be rearranged for a later date in the season.
The Blues would have gone into the game on a high having strolled to a 4-2 win at Blackburn last week.
