Saved this Club from potential disaster with his goals.....relegation would have likely been the end of us Leeds-style. What a goal-scoring streak he went on when he joined from a hateful spell in Turkey. Struck up a decent partnership really quickly with Franny Jeffers.....and let's not forget the impact that Scotty Gemmill had too joining at the same time. Always saddened me that his contribution was overlooked and even ridiculed.
Met Super in a mall in Dubai around 6-7 years ago. Was with a work mate who didn't follow football who was highly bemused when I dashed across to this huge fella and started chatting away like we were best of mates. Super was an absolute gent....actually seemed to enjoy being recognised.
