Visited a Hindu temple somewhere near Trivandrum once when the priest and the worshippers started some chant and music going. Didn't understand a word of it obviously, but it was really tribal and hypnotic and got massively under my skin, to the point that I got vaguely interested in Hinduism.

Being slightly stoned at the time probably didn't help.
